Born June 27, 1993, Zachery spent six years grinding toward medical school after failing his exams at the University of Windsor at 18. In January 2020 he enrolled at the University of Sydney to begin his MD — and within months, pandemic lockdowns, a breakup, a torn ACL, and a depression he's described as bordering on suicidal took him to the lowest point of his life. In August 2020, still in Sydney, he posted a short TikTok about lesser-known signs of depression. It crossed half a million views overnight.
